School Rules

  • Every child should possess a copy of the School Diary which should be brought to school every day even on examination days.
  • On class days every pupil is expected to wear the uniform prescribed for the season.
  • The school day commences with the school assembly in which all students must be present.
  • At the first assembly bell there must be perfect silence in the school building and on the grounds. The students will then proceed in orderly formation to the place of assembly. They will take up an attitude of prayerful silence and ask God to bless their day.
  • The School gate shall be closed at 7.05 am in summer & 7.50 am in winter.
  • Attendance will be taken at the beginning of the morning session. Only those students who have 90% of the number of working days up to 2nd term examination date will be allowed to sit for the examination. At the time of the annual examination all students must have 90% attendance. The names of students who fall short of attendance will be withdrawn from the examination. Irregularity in attendance will be registered in the student’s report book.
  • Throwing bits of chalk, foil paper etc. on others or teasing fellow students is strictly forbidden.
  • No one who is late or has been absent on the previous day will be admitted to the class without an explanation in writing on the page specified for absence record in the diary and signed by the parent or guardian. Late comers will be sent back to home. Encourage your ward to reach the school in time
  • ATTENDANCE-No leave of absence is given or student allowed to leave the school during the school hours, without a previous written application from the parents/guardians 30 stating the reason which must be serious one. Absence from school for merely social functions is not encouraged. No application for half day leave will be granted.
  • Absence without leave for more than seven consecutive days renders the student liable to have his/her name struck off the roll. Re-admission if granted will be done on admission charges.
  • As per the court order any indiscipline will be dealt with accordingly.
  • Late comers, uniform defaulters or students who don’t complete or submit their notebooks regularly will be strictly dealt with.
  • Any student found outside the school premises during school hours without permission, will be rusticated for at least one week. Any repetition of this offence will result in expulsion. Needless to say, this will figure strongly in the student’s character certificate.
  • Students have been strictly instructed not to eat anything from the vendors at the school gates. Action will be taken against any student found guilty of violating this rule.
  • When the bell rings at the end of the recess, students will assemble at the allotted place in silence and in order, and then proceed to their classrooms.
  • Running, playing and shouting is forbidden in the school building during study hours.
  • During the last period of the day no student will be allowed to leave the classroom. The class will be dismissed only after the prayer.
  • No student will be allowed to go home during class hours unless a duly authorized person, with a letter from the parents, come to take him/her, for genuine reasons.
  • Exemption from Physical Education is permitted only for serious health reasons and with a medical certificate. Students 31 who have obtained exemption must nevertheless accompany the class to the field.
  • No collection of money may be done in class without the prior knowledge of the principal.
  • Any kind of damage done to the school property must be remedied at the cost of the offender.
  • (a) No books (other than text books or library books) magazines, paper, mobile MP3 or play equipment will be brought to the school without the principal’s written permission.
    (b) No electronic gadgets to be brought to the school eg. i-pad, i-pod, mobiles etc, if caught shall not be returned.
    (c) No crackers and colours (gulal) are allowed on the school premises without permission.
  • The school is not responsible for goods or money lost by students. They are requested not to wear any ornaments. Money or articles should not be lent or borrowed.
  • Students must speak in English within the class and the school premises. English conversation should be encouraged at home
  • (a) The school authorities have the right to dismiss students for any of the following reasons without warning.
    1.Immoral behaviour.
    2.Habitual contempt shown to the school authorities.
    3.Purposeful destruction of the school or school property.
    (b)List of banned items in the school premises.

    The school reserves the right to suspend or expel any student in cases where he/she found to possess the banned items.
    (c) For the following reasons the students are liable to be fined or suspended or punished according to the discretion of the school authorities:
    1. Repeated dishonesty.
    2. Persistent mischief among students.
    3. Confirmed laziness, hitting, beating, pushing, injury in any form using bad language.
    (i) Parents are requested not to send the ward if he/she is suffering from contagious/infectious disease.
    (ii) Parents are requested not to get the false documents for any purpose. (Medical for being absent)
    (iii) Similar action may be taken if a student does not do his/her Home Work rather often, if he/she frequently neglects to bring his/her book etc., or if he/she fails to bring an entry in the Absence Record the day after unauthorised absence.
  • Presents to teaches or demonstrations in the honour are not allowed without the special permission of the principal.
  • A notice of two days must be given for any certificate o document required from the school.
  • Students are requested to contribute generous when collections are taken up for helping the poor and needy.
  • If a child forgets Tiffin box or water bottle parents will not be allowed to give him/her during school hours.
  • Students must bring to the notice of their parents/guardians any communication/notes given by the teacher and get it countersigned. Entries by parents/guardians should also be shown to the teacher.
  • Students should attend school regularly and must be punctual for classes and participate in all the activities. They must reach the school at least ten minutes before the morning Assembly.
  • Frequent taking of leave and repeated absence for festivals, wedding, trips and other social functions will render the student liable for removal from the roll.
